The Detroit-based McGregor Fund today announced that President Kate Levin Markel will step away from her leadership role at the end of 2026.

For nearly 25 years, including eleven as president, Kate has upheld a fierce, unwavering dedication to the mission set forth by our founders and, most importantly, to the causes of hundreds of grant partners. For that, we are immeasurably grateful.  

The McGregor Fund announces the 2026 cohort of the Eugene A. Miller Fellowship Program, recognizing 11 extraordinary leaders, the Fund's largest group of Fellows to date.
