Choose Healthy Life Initiative with Mayor Duggan

In April, we were honored to join Detroit Mayor Mike Duggan; Reverend Horace Sheffield, III; Debra Fraser-Howze, founder of Choose Healthy Life; and Dr. Darienne Hudson, Executive Director of United Way for Southeastern Michigan at a vaccination event held by The Detroit Association of Black Organizations (DABO), a McGregor Fund grantee partner. Similar events are held every Thursday from 10am-2pm.

DABO and Reverend Sheffield’s New Destiny Christian Fellowship have partnered with several other churches and trusted institutions via the Choose Healthy Life Initiative to get COVID-19 testing and vaccinations into communities where they are most needed.
